LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

This is where I tell you all about me(?) and my products. I first started making these products for me and my menagery of pets but then I found a way to make them for you too.  So that brings us to NOW and about you instead and just what's in it for you?

2017 had been a year of celebration.  Canada is celebrating its 150th anniversary of Confederation and more importantly, to me anyway, Shining Waters Soap Co. is celebrating a dream come true, a brick and mortar store!

I know, WHAT???  Who does that in this day of online sales and distribution?  Well I did and I did it because I believe you want to see, touch, smell these products more than anything and once you do, once you buy them and try them and realize how good they are for you, then you will buy them online or just keep coming to the shop.  Either way I need somewhere to make the products for you and now you have a place where you can come to buy them any time, well, during regular business hours but you know what I mean.

So this year I applied for and received a small grant from the Kawartha Lakes Small Business and Entrepreneurship Centre Starter Company PLUS Program (full story here https://www.mykawartha.com/news-story/7401119-provincial-grant-gives-local-businesses-a-boost/#.WWtzaBwOJMM.facebook) to expand my business which had outgrown that home business model to the point where there was just no room left to enjoy life in my home.

But where!  Location, Location, Location!

After some searching I finally  settled on a small but nice spot on the backside of 79 Bolton Street in beautiful Bobcaygeon, Ontario, the hub of the Kawartha Lakes.  There is plenty of parking and easy access walkway from Bolton St.

I've been working hard to get things ready for a grand opening in August.  Stay tuned for more details about that, gotta go, too much to do.

Keep calm and have an amazing weekend.

Slainte Mhath!
